Event Announcement: Quantum and Nanophotonics for Nanoscale Sensing and Future Integrated Photonic Chip Technologies

From the +QCHIP chair, we are honored to host this exciting talk and welcome Dr. Jana B. Nieder, a leading expert in nanophotonics and quantum sensing. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about her groundbreaking work in nanoscale metrology, focusing on advanced techniques for measuring distances, temperature, and magnetic fields with unprecedented precision. Dr. Nieder, Research Group Leader of the Ultrafast Bio- and Nanophotonics Group (UBNP) at INL, will share insights into her team’s pioneering efforts in developing non-invasive methods for nanoscale measurements and exploring the integration of nanoscale sensors with photonic platforms for applications in biosensing and neuromorphic computing.

This talk will delve into key innovations, including fluorescence lifetime measurements, quantum sensing with nitrogen vacancy centers in diamond, and the use of two-photon polymerization for 2D and 3D waveguide fabrication. These advances are shaping the future of quantum sensing and integrated photonics.

We invite all interested in the cutting-edge fields of nanophotonics, quantum sensing, and photonics integration to join us for this enlightening session.
